And is that the blue Apple silicone case? I’m thinking of getting the Mini, and am between blue and Starlight. I’d assumed if I got blue I’d get a clear case to show off the colour. But it looks amazing with the case.

Yes - it’s the Blue Jay case. And sure, I can take some pics of the front and post them.

I'm buying a 13 Mini in the next few days, and I've always gone with black/space grey/whatever the darkest colour is when it comes to iPhones, but your pics have made me seriously consider blue with that blue jay silicon case. Do you still like the combo (I noticed you bought a different case in the cases thread recently)?

I do - it’s the best combo tbh but I did get a new case. I always like to swap back and forth but blue jay and blue will always be the best combo 👍

Yeah that's a really nice setup. I did the same thing with my Mini last year before upgrading to the 12 Pro.

The back shows fingerprints, but they don’t really bother me, especially since I’m mostly looking at the screen side. 😄 The sides have a matte finish and don’t show prints. If you‘re especially worried about fingerprints, I would go with the Starlight or pink.

I really like the Blue color especially in that blue case. But I’ve been rocking the 13 Mini without a case and it’s nice. I’m afraid the case will add bulk/weight but also afraid of dropping my phone.

Consider this as an in between…

Feels nice in hand as it’s matte, so no fingerprints etc and adds almost nothing to the overall size and feel in hand. They do other colours as well.

The blue case is an almost exact match for the phone.

I’d always thought “what’s the point in buying a colourful phone and then covering it with a case.” But in this case, the case is the same colour. So no need for a transparent case to ‘see’ the colour.

My wife’s starlight iPhone 13 mini in her 12 mini case from the 12 mini which she likes. Had to use a Dremel creatively inside the case to get it to fit properly around the camera bump and not damage the chrome surrounding the camera opening.
