Hey guys, I'm not really good at English and I was wondering if someone could sort of help me with this letter which I am handing into the management in my current job. I work part time in Odeon Cinemas (the largest cinema chain in the UK) and I would like to change one of my days with another member of staff and also get 2 more hours. They are sort of nit picky about giving people more hours, but I feel they could be persueded.

Here is what I have wrote so far:

Dear Odeon Management,

I was wondering if it would be possible to permanently swap shifts with another member of staff? I would like to swap my Monday night for a Wednesday night with Firstname Surname (i.e. I would permanently work his Wednesday and he would permanently work my Monday).

Firstname has fully agreed to partake in this swap.

Additionally, I would like to request to start work at 12 noon on a Saturday as opposed to 2pm (i.e. working 12 noon -12 midnight as opposed to 2 pm -12 midnight). I have frequently started work at 2pm and it has been extremely busy. I feel starting earlier would be both beneficial to Odeon and myself.

I hope the above is feasible, and I appreciate any help with these matters.

Due to a change in personal circumstances (or some other reason if there is one), I was wanting to enquire whether a permanent shift swap with another staff member was possible. Employee Firstname Surname has agreed to partake in this swap, which would involve me working a shift on Wednesday as opposed to my regular shift on Monday.
