Lexmark Printer Error

I have a Lexmark X3350 connected through USB on my iMac, when I print, I get an error message in the printer utility that says:

"The Process "usb" Terminated unexpectedly on signal 10"

If I stop the print jobs and restart them, the printing will then start with no problems.

Any ideas what the problem is and to correct it?
