Hey guys

ive been trying to get my lexmark x1180 to work on my imac for a few days now, downloading the drivers from lexmark etc then noticed that it hasnt been supported since 10.3 lol.
After more searching i found nothing for the x1180, but a method for another old printer that some people got to work via terminal. See link bellow:-

Does anyone know of a method to get the x1180 to work ? help would be grand

cheers

mark

I had to buy a new printer/scanner when I upgraded to Snow Leopard.

Kind of sucked, since the Lexmark still had a lot of life, but it only cost us $50 (£30) when it was new, and I replaced it for $60-70 (£35-40) so it wasn't a major expense.

We upgraded to a Canon printer/scanner.

looks like im going to have to buy a new printer then grrrrr,
its a shame as the scanner function works perfect just not the print

If you don't run a Microsoft-produced operating system, then Lexmark does not want your business. Deal with it.
