Hey :)

I have mac mini late 2012 running on 10.8.5 and a LG 34UC98 screen connected through thunderbolt.
It has been running perfectly smooth with 50hz and in full resolution (3440x1440px).

After an update to the latest macOS elCapitan (10.11.6) I cannot get it working... it is only working in reduced resolution (2560x1080), which is very bad. As soon as I switch to the full resolution, I see a lot of pixel errors (same as here: https://discussions.apple.com/servl...mage/2-25833361-427367/450-188/screenshot.jpg).
Also, I found this topic at apple (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6240037?start=0&tstart=0), but patching the kext did not work - no changes...

Any help is appreciated - it would be great to have this nice screen working again in el Capitan!

Thanks guys!

You could always consider "going back" to 10.8.5.

"Use what works…"

Yeah, I'd love to, but not possible ;) ...as I have to be in sync with a brandnew mbp and an iMac which run at el Capitan, that's not doable...
