Hi, I am wondering if anyone here has successfully used their 4K ultra fine with a windows machine. If you did how did you do it? I don't feel like buying a bunch of stuff to test and then having to return it. PLEASE, do not reply with "it should work with this" I have already tried a few "it shoulds" of my own, they do not work.

Best guess so far is DisplayPort to USB-c, but I don't wanna buy a 2-400 graphics card to test.

Thanks!

I have the LG 4K monitor with 2 HDMI inputs and 1 DisplayPort input. I don't recall the model number off the top of my head but it worked great with my 2015 MacBook and 2016 MacBook Pro. I have a Microsoft Surface book with discrete graphics and it runs great with a mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable. 4k at 60Hz. I've also used it with the HP Spectre x360 with USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 cable to DisplayPort at 4k/60Hz. I've been using the Windows 10 Creators Update on all my machines.

I take it that isn't the LG Ultrafine? With USB-c only? And thanks for replying!
