I've sort of come to accept that the MBP 13" 2016 doeesn't have the juice to drive the 5k properly in the sense that there is lag. It's ok as a regular monitor at native resolution, but at anything higher, it most definitely lags, especially when simply scrolling a webpage.
Questions: Does the MBP 13" 2017 version have this problem as well? Or does the new chipset and minimal GPU upgrade alleviate this problem? I'm talking about general desktop usage, not gaming. Playing a youtube 4k movie trailer also results in lag currently on my MBP 13" 2016.
Also, does the MBP 15" 2016 have this lag / sluggishness problem as well? I am assuming not.
