LG 5K THUNDERBOLT MONITOR-IS THERE A WAY TO USE A SURFACE?

My main computer at home is a 15" MBP with a 5K LG Thunderbolt Display. Is there a way for me to use my Work Surface with the THunderbolt display. I realize the Surface doens't have a Thunderbolt port, but was wondering if some sort of pass throught was possible.
 
What's a Work Surface? Do you mean a Microsoft Surface? What model?

Which model of 5K LG display do you have?
