Is it possible to connect the new LG 5k UltraFine Display to my MBP 15" 2015 with the Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter? I am looking for a 5k solution where I do not need both Thunderbolt ports from my MacBook. Sorry for my bad English.

The display requires Thunderbolt 3(USBc) to carry dual displayport streams (and USBc) to the MST monitor. Unfortunately, thunderbolt 1 and 2 cannot do that.
