I have never used an android phone in my life but my daughter was given a LG e400. Now it says there's 1g of space but I'm unable to download apps or add contacts as it says there's not enough storage even though in the settings it says there 1g free! Funny thing is I am able to take pictures ? Anyone know about these things? Do you need an sd card to go along with the internal storage ?

Your best bet would be Android forums where they have a section dedicated to each Android phone.
