LG Monitor not working right with 2019 16" but did on 2016 13"

I am now setting up a new 2019 16" MBP with Catalina. I previously had a 2016 MBP with Mojave. My 27" external monitor worked fine with the 13" but flickers with the 16" it is just a random flicker every 5 seconds or so. I tried reseting the SMC and also rebooted several times. Any ideas?
 
I am reading that this is a known issue and might be something to do with the integrated graphics. I tried some of the settings, etc, that were posed, but it did not work and does not seem to work for everyone. Settings like night shift and True Tone off. I guess that I have to wait for a fix.

I was using a USBC dongle on the left side that has other items connected, but I just tried another adapter on the right side with nothing else attached and it does not flicker. Not optimal and not sure if it is the right side or only the HDMI cord attached that is helping.
