Hello,

This LG monitor seems to have a USB-C port, which I guess is used for data transfer between a macbook and the screen?

Does it also charge the macbook in the meanwhile? And could you also use the regular USB ports on the monitor? All through one cable?

If so, I will never need more than 2 ports on the macbook pro and I could rest at ease.

After some searching I found out that indeed everything is done through 1 cable, that is amazing!

I can just plug in my speakers and flash drive in the monitor, and with one cable I can connect everything together with video AND including power to the MBP.
One cable, that is truly amazing, and no dongles! Now I definitely don't need more than 2 ports on my macbook.

Congrats on being amongst the first few to embrace the future.
