LG tv Screen issue

Dunno if it’s appropriate to ask this here. Mods please move if necessary

just noticed a gap in the panel of my LG 65in. Is this a common thing? The attached photo is from the top where the light is escaping

can you gently push on it and make the 2 pieces go back together?

it looks like the 2 pieces of glass are separating, if you can push them back together, I'd contact LG, it could be a manufacturing error.

If the TV is under warranty, I would not attempt any repairs. I recommend contacting LG for a warranty repair or replacement.

Yeah, my C8 isn't like that. I'd call that in under the warranty. It *might* be as easy as pushing the panel gently back together but that also might make it worse—and your fault.

My LG is not like that. This should not be separating.
