LG Ultrafine 4k with HDMI source?

Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I wasn't able to find a similar thread.

I'm considering getting a LG Ultrafine 4K display to accompany my 5K one as a preview monitor when editing video. But as I'm using a Blackmagic Thunderbolt to SDI/HDMI converter for this purpose i need to get the signal from USB-C to HDMI. Will that be possible?
I have no need for the USB-hub or the charging capabilities, only the video signal.
