Hi, I have a 3.5 year old Ultrafine 5K display which is normally connected to my Mac Mini. In the recent months its been going on/off especially if I moved my table up and down). I always thought it as a Thunderbolt cable issue, but I tried with another TB3 cable which didn't help.

Now it suddenly wont start, so I've tried to debug with different cable, removing the eGPU and connect it straight to my MBP. Still black. However it actually does power my MBP when connected, yet I cannot see the screen in the system report.

What could be my next steps here? Can, and should, I open the screen? And how come I get power, but no visuals? The port cannot be fully dead if so.

Have you fix the issue? I also have the same problem. The monitor doesn't show anythinkg.

Did you have any luck here? None of LG's suggested service centers near me (in Los Angeles) serviced monitors (despite indicating they do). I ended up submitting a service request with a false date of purchase (as the LG website restricts you otherwise), and am waiting to hear back.

LG makes awesome panels. Everything else surrounding them is a bit *****, however. Somewhat regretting the 65" CX OLED I just bought....
