Hey Guys,
I'm planning to watercool my Mac Pro, it's a 1,1 2006, it's got an LGA771 socket, I was hoping to use a Corsair H70 or something similar, however it is only compatible with an LGA775 does any one know if LGA771 sockets can use LGA775 heatsinks or waterblocks?

Thanks in advance.

LGA 775 and 771 require different coolers. I haven't seen a bracketing system offered in most retail cooler for anything but non-Xeon processors.

It's a little easier now since LGA 1156/1366 is shared across the Core i5/7 and Xeon sides.
