macOS libGL error when using SSH and X11

I keep running into the problem of not being able to load a module using X11
This is the error I keep getting
I am trying to run a program called moe

libGL error: No matching fbConfigs or visuals found
libGL error: failed to load driver: swrast
Segmentation fault (core dumped)​

I am using:
XQuartz 2.7.10
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014)
2.6 GHz Intel Core i5
intel Iris 1536 MB
