Library is now Hidden?

Sorry if someone has already pointed this out but couldn't find anything with a quick search.

Has anyone else noticed that the library folder in your home folder is now hidden so that the only way to access it is to use the go to folder option in finder and type in the address?

Also, do you think that it was a good idea for Apple to hide this folder?

I think it probably is a good idea for the average user, but it is very annoying to have to type in the address whenever I want to go into that folder for whatever reason.

To save you a bit of typing, hold down the option button and click on the Go menu in finder, and you will find then find Library in the menu.

Good idea but I think I will leave it hidden as it makes it less cluttered and is still easy to get to from the menu bar.
