Upon opening the Photos app for the first time after completing a full system restore from a Time Machine backup, I am greeted with the message:
"Library Restoration.
Photos needs to complete restoration of your library after recovery from backup."
It gives the options to Cancel or Proceed.
I chose to Cancel for now.
What I would rather do is delete the photos library so that none of the images that might have been in there at the time the backup was made are not restored. I already have any photos I want saved on external drives. I don't want to have it try to tackle some restore of photos I don't need, and possibly take a long time or get stuck and leave me with another problem.
Can I find this library file somewhere and delete it to get a clean slate with my Photos app?
Or perhaps I can delete the photos app and reinstall it?
