Licensing issues with MAC OS X when Upgrading HD?

I know there is a thing with windows where you can install the same OS on a new HD? your rather you shouldn't?

But what is the licensing with MAC OS X? I mean if you want to upgrade your HD to a bigger HD does that mean that I can't put snow leopard on the new HD because it should stay on the original HD?

I hope you understand what I am trying to say.

No problems at all, you can install as many times as you want on your personally owned Macs.

I asked because windows has that thing where you can't install the OS more then three times....@_@ and this will be my first time upgrading a mac HD.
