Dear all,

I have got iPhone 4s unlocked on JB iOS 5.0.1 untethered, I was so excited when the new absinthe came out for 5.1.1. The question is how to jailbreak my iPhone to the latest JB update as I'm finding difficulties, when updating this message appears : error device already jailbroken detected stash.

Could someone tell me what to do to get the latest jailbreak.

1.Connect to iTunes and back everything up
2.Do a restore through iTunes and wipe phone clean
3.Close iTunes and open Ansinthe and click the button.
4.Open iTunes then restore from saved backup.


***WAIT I DIDN'T SEE THE UNLOCK PART***

You might lose your unlock I don't know NOTHING about that lol...

Once I get to step 2 I get this message:

plus my iPhone gets stuck on the iTunes logo and usb cable,

*MINE IS FACTORY UNLOCKED* SO DONT WORRY

any further advice ?

your hosts file is probably still being directed to cydia

Have you tried a dfu restore?

I am not really familiar with the term 'host file' and what can I do to overcome this problem?
