I just bought these headset today and on the box it said it would only work for windows. So I got home and looked up if it would work for my mac. I found a couple of post from 2007 seven saying it would and a couple from early 2010 saying it would. I opened the box plugged it in and it didn't work. Could someone help me.

Did you look in System Preferences->Sound to see if OS X sees the headset? Also hold down the 'option' key (on you keyboard) and click on the black Aple in the top left hand corner. In the drop-down select "System Profiler" and look at the USB part to see if OS X even sees the USB connection for it.

How would I tell if it see a connection for it?
