LifeProof and other Water Proof Cases

Which waterproof case do you all recomend? I am not necessarily looking for a case i can go underwater with, i just want something that will give it protection from splashes or maybe a short drop. What is the slimmest case I can get?

Any idea when the iPhone 6 Lifeproof cae will come out?
