I recently purchased the Lifeproof fre ipad mini retina case for my ipad mini retina, and I want to add the Zagg Extreme screen protector to it for added protection for the screen. I know the fre comes with the screen protector, but it probably does not protect against impacts against the screen right ?

What do you guys think? And will the added, ever so slight bulk compromise the protection ability of lifeproof? Ty in advance

I was putting Zaggs on my devices before they were Zagg. The screens were fragile and the shields were tough. Somewhere along the way, things reversed. I put a Zagg on my first Mini and it scratched like Id never seen. Wipes with a tissue left drag marks. I ended up pealing it off and all the issues went away. With that and the retina since, Ive run zero protectors and had no scratches. Not about to do a drop test, but Ive had it with shields.

But no, no flat/flexible film can protect from impacts.
