To make a long story short
I was in a local Best Buy chatting with the phone tech/salesman and commented that I was frustrated with the Newtons Rings/oil slick on my LifeProof case.
He asked to see my case and after determining that it was in pristine/new condition, he swapped the top/screen protector for a new one (the bottom remained in-place).
Much to my surprise, the new cover has no Newton issues, none, zero, zilch, nada, and, no bubbles either (even a week later).
Perhaps LifeProof made a manufacturing change, I dunno.
Has anyone else noted this improvement or is my success an anomaly?
