To make a long story short…

I was in a local Best Buy chatting with the phone tech/salesman and commented that I was frustrated with the Newton’s Rings/oil slick on my LifeProof case.

He asked to see my case and after determining that it was in pristine/new condition, he swapped the top/screen protector for a new one (the bottom remained in-place).

Much to my surprise, the new cover has no Newton issues, none, zero, zilch, nada, and, no bubbles either (even a week later).:D

Perhaps LifeProof made a manufacturing change, I dunno.

Has anyone else noted this improvement or is my success an anomaly?

Where did you buy your original case from?

How do you like the floppy screen protector?

I purchased my original LifeProof rom Best Buy (several months ago).

My screen protector is nearly like piece of glass; not quite, but almost nearly flat and quite smooth/slick; indeed no scrolling issues.

Removing the audio/ear buds port is a bit of a chore, but as I hardly ever use that, I am thrilled with the product.

BTW, I have dropped my iPhone 5 to a hard tile floor several times with no adverse consequence.
