love my Lifx bulbs, have about 20 in the house and only the occasional issue where I need to flick the light switch to reset the bulb. You also don't have to worry about buying special hubs etc.

I had a problem with the two LIFX bulbs that I purchased. They would very often lose their Wi-Fi connection. Usually lost connection within a day. I switched to nano leaf bulbs with thread. I've since installed 14 of these bulbs in my place and never have a problem.

Just installed the bulbs. They were a bit of a pita connecting but eventually got there. The light given is considerably of lower quality than the tplink bulbs I had previously, but will mess about with the setting s and see how it is after that.

Guys, if I dim one of the bulbs and then switch it off and back on later, for it to come back on at the original default and not on dim?

It should come back on as the dim you set it to.

BTW: I *love* my LIFX bulbs and strips - no problems whatsoever. Them having HomeKit is worth the premium price, for me.

I have two LIFX bulbs. They both constantly drop their Wi-Fi connection for no apparent reason.

I replaced the LIFX bulbs I had in my bedroom and in my home’s entrance with Philips Hue bulbs that have performed flawlessly, unlike the constant dropouts the LIFX bulbs had.

I then moved both LIFX bulbs to the garage, where they’ve continued their usual poor behaviour. I’m just about ready to bin them both and put normal, non-smart LED bulbs back in their place.

Terrible experience using these. Can’t recommend them, won’t buy them again.

I've got to say, so far so good for me. No drop outs or loss of connection.

My only issue is that if I dim the bulbs and then switch off the light, when I switch it back on the bulbs are still dimmed. I want them to come back on at full brightness again and not dim.

Really good for me. I particularly like me B30 floodlight size that I have shining different colors on my fireplace area.

Work well for me. I much prefer direct wifi connection and avoiding a bridge (Hue) or Bluetooth (Elgato?).
For those with wifi problems it might be an interference issue (which could be difficult to trouble shoot). Try assigning a static IP address via the router settings.
During setup I have sometimes found I needed to change the default name in order for Homekit to recognise the device. Otherwise easy setup using the QR code in the packaging (don't lose it).
