Light leak and a dead pixel..

I got the iPad from Walmart, but can I take it to an Apple Store for an exchange?

I have a dead pixel right in the middle of the screen, and light leak on the lower right corner.

Yes, but more likely they won't have any in stock and will have to order you one that can take 3-5 weeks to arrive (this is based on what others on this forum have been saying, but every location is different).

Yeah you can take it to the Apple store even if you bought it elsewhere.

They swapped mine out straight away. Just because they don't have any in stock to buy doesn't mean they won't have any for a replacement. The genius told me they have different stock for replacements etc.
