It's very hard to tell anything by those pictures. Is something broken or do you feel like returning it just because.

I am just annoyed by the light outside the screen where the metal casing/glass. If I apply pressure the light goes away. My other iphone is free is this issue.

Just because ? No I paid for a phone and expect zero flaws. Yeah I'm that guy

Also the photos clearly show enough., I figured a guy with nearly 7 post a day would have something productive to add hmm?

Is the screen clicking? Ultimately you can book a genius appointment or call Apple, and see what they say.

I've had two 5s's replaced. One for a clicking screen and the other for a loose battery.

I honestly think your wife swapped phones with you because she wanted the flawless one without a light leak. JK.

Anyways this issue is caused by the LCD/Digitizer assembly not seating properly into the phone. The light you see is from the backlight which the light from it is leaking out of the small gap between the LCD/Digitizer assembly and the bezels. Since you have an iPhone 5s, you are still in warranty and if you take it to the genius bar they will be able to fix the phone or give you a replacement fo fwee.

Good luck with getting a replacement!

Oh no, that's a tragedy:rolleyes:
Go to the Apple store and shut all the lights off to test out a bunch of replacements:D

Lol:D
You paid for something and expect zero flaws. Good luck with that...

Again useless replies. ???
My other two iPhone 5s, have zero issues. So this one is flawed/defective.
No contribution don't post, unless your tired of
"I lift things up and put them down"

FYI apple will take the phone to the back and test., I know bizarre concept

Update

Went to my appointment, and screen replacement.
149.00 my cost free., results free of light leak.

My iPad mini with retina came with several bubbles in the glass, a dead pixel, an area in the top right where there is a slight lack of the black coloring, so light shines through, and a light leak in the bottom. Fun.

Some people may not care about it, which is why I asked. If it bothered me I would be at the apple store first.

Glad it worked out for you.
