light leak THROUGH back of iphone 3g plastic..?

i was using my 3g in a dark room just now and i turned it around and i noticed right behind where i have a very minor light leak, i noticed a could see the light leak through the plastic (its not cracked, i checked that first lol) i guess the plastic is somewhat translucent or something, anyone else experience this?
