I usually don't complain about stuff but I noticed last night on my MBP (one below) that I have some light leakage on the left and right side of the panel. When I have a dark wallpaper you can defiantly notice it.

Anyone else experience this?

yup i have it, and unfortunately backlight bleed is considered common and acceptable. if you just bought your computer you might be able to take it in and try to exchange it, but the sad reality is that you may get an even worse one - its luck of the draw. i've read stories of people exchanging their system half a dozen times trying to minimalize backlight bleed.

best of luck to you!

Its not terrible. I've owned the laptop for a good amount of time and haven't noticed it so I can live. And I totally agree with you about the possibility of getting something much worse. I'll take light leakage over dead/stuck pixel. :p

I'm not too worried but thank you for answering my thread.
