Anyone know of a way to completely disable the light (without taking it apart) on a Time Capsule? I'll spare you the annoying details, but I've had to move this into my bedroom and the green light is enough to be annoying at night.

I'd settle for off except when there are problems.

Under the options for Status Light are "Always On (Default)" and "Flash On Activity", which just means it blinks a lot... which is worse than solid green. If there's a way to access a third I'd be thankful if someone could point me towards it. Thank you.

We tried searching before, never found one without resorting to physically disabling the LED by opening it up so resorted to using thick white paper and clear tape. Works perfectly for us.

I did the same, sorry OP for having a better answer

That solidifies my concern. Thanks for the input and tape/paper suggestion. :)
