My MAC will not turn on. Some research indicated that the power for a could be an issue in that it is not charging the MAC. What does the light on the power cord look like in the following situations.

Plugged into wall but not MAC
plugged into wall and MAC but the MAC is turned off
plugged into wall and MAC and MAC is on with low battery - Orange
Plugged into wall and mac and MAC has full battery - green

Plugged into wall but not MAC - NO LIGHT
plugged into wall and MAC but the MAC is turned off - GREEN, when battery full; ORANGE, when battery charging

Btw, it is spelled "Mac", as MAC is the common abbreviation for Media Access Control, not for "Macintosh".
