iPod touch light shining through edge of screen on 3g itouch

hi i just got my new 64gb itouch 3g and i noticed a small amount of light shines through some areas where the seem is. i saw someone else post about this saying dust could get in. i got it brand new on ebay. could i still take it to the apple store? or is there anything i can do?

You could try taking it to the Apple Store. That's really your only option.

You could also simply post to that thread since it's the exact same problem instead of creating a new thread.

looked everywhere for it. couldnt find it...

and do you think it is just a peice of uncolored glass or an actual gap? to be honest the light doesnt bother me much its just the fact that dust could get in there. do you think this would happen?
