Lighting charger and headphones

I'm sorry if this has been posted already but I searched and couldn't find it.

I just purchased the 8+...my first journey into the plus phones and to phones without the headphone jack.

I do have bluetooth in my car; but when it streams from my phone it also uses my data...not good. I'd also like to be able to charge my phone if it needs to be charged in the car while listening to music. Apple doesn't make an adapter like this so I'm looking for guidance from those that have been no headphone jack longer than I.

I have something similar to this that I ordered from Amazon. I can charge my iPhone X and use the headphones or aux cable at the same time.

Bluetooth doesn’t use cellular data. Plug the phone in to charge it, and play audio over Bluetooth.
