Got my lightning adapter today and it works great with the Hyundai cord in my 2012 Elantra. I do not have the nav system so there is no artwork but you can control tracks from the steering wheel.

Tha's The big question is will it work with the Nav system as the interface is different.

Will post here once I get my adapter.

Thanks for the thread! I have a 2011 Hyundai sonata without the nav, so hopefully they're very similar.

Thanks for this, I have the same car and was waiting to hear if it works. Good news!

Glad I could help some of you. One thing I noticed, it worked the first time I tried it. After stopping at the grocery store and coming back out and plugging it in again, it only said aux connected. I had to unplug and plug it in again before it recognized it and went into ipod mode. Today I plugged it in to the phone first and then the car and it started right away, I don't know if one part is supposed to be connected before the other but try a different way if it doesn't work the first time.

Excellent, that means I'll be ordering a cable for my Elantra Coupe :D

Thanks for the heads up chele519 :)

You mean ordering the Hyundai cable right?

The Apple USB to Lightning will not work in the hyundai other than to allow charging.

You need the Hyundai cable and the apple ADAPTER.

Could be that bluetooth connected first.
