Lightning audio bug?

I lost my headphone that I got with my 6S so I bought another but new one had lighting connector. I've noticed that sometime my Apple music app wont start playing sound and only thing I can do is restart my phone to fix that. When listening podcast with Pocket casts same thing happens but this time i accidentally removed headphones and when I connected them back it fixed issue even in Apple music app. It seems that it has to do something with lightning connection, does anyone have any info about it?
