I have a USB port in my car so I keep a lightning cable plugged into it all the time. Yesterday, I plugged it in so listen to music, but it keeps saying 'no song.' But the song is actually playing in the background. No sound was coming out the speakers or anything. It seems like the music stopped playing when I plugged the cable into the phone too, and it made me hit play again. It can't be the phone because I tried another lightning cable at work and it worked just fine.
Could it be that it's been plugged in for too long it's shorting out, also cause it's in the heat for 8 hours a day and I need to replace the cable, or could it be something in my car that needs to be updated?
