I bought an iPad mini in March. Now the original lightning cable is not working.

And I bought a substitute on Ebay, sometimes it will charge, sometimes not. And when I plug it out, it looks like this:

I am planning to get this universal one now, anyone used this kind of cable?

It's too cheap to believe it's safe.

Please recommend me some good quality lightning cable.

Apple makes a good lightning cable. You can return your faulty original cable and get it replaced with a brand new one. The cables have a warranty, just like the phone.

Also, Belkin makes an official lightning cable, with better reinforcement compared to Apple's.
