lightning cable vs old iphone cable

Just curious to know what ppl think about the cable and if they notice any speed backingup, syncing etc. I just got mine and seemed fine but its just charging as im restoring from cloud so couldnt do a sync yet.

The old cable looks ancient almost the vga--> hdmi changeover
I hope it would it would be like thunderbold speeds wishful thinking.

It sucks for people who had lots of accessories for the old cable.

But it's a 10 year old cable. If that helped them make the iPhone thinner. I'm game for a new cable that is now reversible.

i know i have this griffin dock and clock radio lol since the 3g.
Oh well, airplay devices here we come.

Other than the annoyance of having a new connector, this new connecter is great. So much easier to insert than the old version. No problems other than having to order a few. I would rather order more of these and then just skip the adapter.
