Lightning Digital AV Adapter to Laptop (can I use Mouse/Keyboard?)

Hey,

I plan on purchasing this accessory tomorrow so that I can use my iPhone with my laptop. What I understand is that the iphone will display on the computer, fine. But how can I navigate throughout the iPhone, now displayed externally. Of course I can continue doing stuff from the phone, but will mouse/keyboard work? If not , is there a program that is made for this?

You can't do either. The AV adapter is to connect the device to an HDTV, not to the screen of a laptop.

My laptop has HDMI in, so it would mirror onto its monitor. I was wondering if there was a software to emulate mouse click and keyboard navigation so i can browse directly with the computer.
