Lightning dock alarm clocks.

I was at Target today and noticed there are a few lightning connector alarm clocks available finally.

I was looking at the iHome iDL45 and the Sony ICF-CS15IPBLKN.

I have been researching both this evening but all I have found so far is a lot of bashing for not being able to work with cases. Really no comments on sound quality or operational features.

If anyone has used either docks please chime in. I am not interested in hear about case fitment.

I have tried the Sony and the ihome idl95 which I have now. I purchased both and ending up keeping the ihome. My reasonings were that the ihome had a better screen design, the clock looks a bit nicer and more bright, the Sony looks kinda old and boring. The only huge downside to the ihomes is that there is no remote which is a huge deal breaker for me but I managed to get over it, and the Sony came with a remote. Depends what features you are looking for. As I said I had both I ended up keeping the ihome. Good luck!
