Is this thing available anywhere? My Apple Store didn't have them on release and I'm wondering if they've been getting shipments or if any Walmart's/Target's have gotten these things?

They didn't have any at target, best buy, or Walmart. Only place I saw them was at the apple store and there were only a few.

I haven't been able to find any - and the Apple Store app doesn't allow in-store pickup on it (does on the USB cable).

It will, but it can't allow in-store pickup for an item the stores don't have yet

No, they didn't. They had lightning cables, not lightning to 30 pin adapters.

Would like to see old dock + adapter + iPhone5 together ((= Could be fun...

Then why ask us if they been getting shipments, we have no idea if they have.

Other Apple stores have been getting them and I was wondering if any other retail stores have. You sound retarded asking these moronic questions.

I want to know if stores are getting them in. Some stores are. Some aren't. I wanted to know if any other did...get off my case.

Read the part were I mention Walmart or Target...

The Lightning USB power cable for the iPhone is only $19 and available right now. I plan to buy two or three and skip buying any adapters. I don't need no stinkin' adapter.

I ordered the adapter and 2 lightening cables before the preorder date. I got the cables, but I'm still waiting on the adapter.

Yeah at $30 vs $19 you'd be silly to buy an adapter if you don't need one. I need one for the car. Some people might need one if they bought a speaker system or other expensive accessory.

I've got three or four six foot 30-pin cables around the house. I'm going to get one adapter as opposed to waiting for solid performing six foot Lightning cables to come out.
