Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter: Recurring Update Message

Hello,



I have a new Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter, which I use on my iPhone 13 (iOS 18.2.1)

Whenever I connect the adapter to the iPhone, a message appears that says there is an update for the adapter. I click on "Update" and nothing happens. The next time I plug it back into the iPhone, the message appears and everything repeats.

Can anyone please help me understand why this happens and how it can be resolved?
