With the new icloud prices I have decided to go back to doing my own backup.
I own a lightning to usb adapter and was thinking about buying a large usbstick or a microsd card usb adapter and transfer any backup from my phone.
As i remember in the past the lightning adapter was super unstable and filetransfer was a big hazzle and before I invest in a USB stick i would like to know if the adapter still sucks?
I remember it would halt in the middle of tranfers and you would have to scroll through filenames to see where it went wrong so copying a large folder of pictures was hell
