LightRoom 1.1 blank/empty screen in Slideshow mode

Hi,

I’ve recently updated from LightRoom 1.0 to 1.1 – basically to find out that the Slideshow doesn’t work any more.

After hitting the ‘play’ button (in the Slideshow mode / tab), the screen becomes blank, and while the show is actually ‘running’, the screen stays completely empty.

I’m experiencing that on the following configuration:

PPC G5 2 x 2,5 GHz, Mac OS 10.4.10, ATI Radeon X800 XT Mac Edition, 30" ACD, 6 GB RAM, all latest updates installed.

Does anybody with a similar configuration have the same problem? Does anybody know any workaround? I know that issue is quite a widespread one.

BTW, if somebody with a similar configuration doesn't have Lightroom 1.1, you can download it from the adobe site and try for 30 days...
