How can I add lightsaber effects to my video projects?




preferably an OS X soultion

There is a great fan film out there that you might want to take a look at to get some tips on how to get those lightsaber effects. Go to www.crewoftwo.com and they will have a breakdown of their techniques. Don't forget to download 'Duality' and check it out. They did a great job.

That site doesn't have links to the 'how to' stuff. I've seen some of the things you're talking about, do you have any other links?

AlamDV has them. There's a full version of 1.0 on the MacAddcict Disc for April, IIRC.

I've got AlamDV. The only problem is 1.0 is going out of style, and it's for 9 anyway. If only there was a similar program for X, that would be really sweet.
