I recently purchased a LightScribe capable LaCie DVD burner, but to my dismay the model I purchased happened to be one that only had the Windows software. Can anyone hook me up with the Mac version? Thanks!

Lacie are pretty good at Mac compatibility. To this effect I'd suggest searching their site for the software. If you cant find it, google. If you still cant find it, email them. I really thing the software should have come with your burner - my guess is the cd is missing.

Apparently, I misread the site at first, and on double checking, the drive is Mac compatible, but doesn't come with the Mac version of the software. I've sent LaCie an E-mail last night. No response, so I'm going to call them in a few minutes. They have the updater from 1.0 -> 1.0.2 for Tiger compatibility, but no download for the original software.

Thats really slack of them.. Yeah I noticed the updater, thats what made me think there should have been a disc in there with the writer. Minus 5 points for you Lacie!
