The text that burns onto a Light-scribe disc from the internal Light-scribe burner in my Mac Pro is of poor quality. The text itself is spotty, as parts of the text have not received adequate amounts of ink on the disc itself. I have the quality setting at "best" within the Light-scribe software but the quality is poor. I have kept the Light-scribe drive area free from dust and the drive itself has been cleaned with a disc cleaner.
The text quality on the Light-scribe discs was good until recently.
No changes have been made to the Light-scribe drive itself, but the drive itself is a few years old. Does the print quality decline as the drive itself ages?
Thanks for any tips on how to improve the print quality of the Light-scribe internal burner.
