Likelihood of new Airport Extremes & Time Capsules (w/ USB3) being released soon?

I'm thinking of jumping on board with a new Time Capsule, but I'm hesitant in case there's a USB3 revision being released soon. I have several USB3 external hard drives. I'm thinking of getting the Airport Extreme for the time being, but I dunno...

How often do these things usually come out?

I really could use a new Time Capsule as well, but am hesitating. I would really like something with a thunderbolt connection to the local computer for speed with ethernet and wifi for the rest of the network. USB 3.0 or thunderbolt inputs for additional drives would be nice as well.

Thunderbolt is very unlikely to appear on AirPort Extreme / Time Capsule unless Apple switches from ARM SoCs to Intel, which would greatly increase the sticker prices of these things.

They'll probably need to do that anyway for USB3...

I doubt we'll see new Airport Extremes and TCs until 802 AC becomes the new standard, which probably won't be until next year.
