New York.
If you've seen that new iPad in person you notice that upon having a Retina Display, the colors are also more vibrant than any other iOS device.

I feel like the vibrancy from 3GS to 4/4S didn't change.

Not that it's extremely dull or anything, but I love how the colors pop on the new iPad and am anticipating the same on the next iPhone especially if the screen is slightly larger.

I see a pretty significant change in terms of the iphone 4 and 4s being more vibrant than my old 3GS.

I find the colour saturation on my iPhone 4 varies a lot according to how much ambient light is around. Reflections create a grey sheen in front of the image, diminishing the impact of the screen.

I'm using a cheap anti glare screen protector which dulls it out some. Maybe you have one as well?

Really hope so.

In comparison to other devices the colours on the 4S are pretty poor I think. Not so sure I'll stick with an iPhone when the next one comes out but if the colours are more vibrant I'll consider it I think.
